Please circle Saturday, September 6, 2025, for the premier of the movie “Beneath the Light” at the Lorain Palace Theatre. “Beneath the Light” is a supernatural thriller film, shot on location at the Lorain Lighthouse in Lorain, Ohio. The movie tells the story of a young man named Jacob, who returns to his hometown after his mother’s death and takes a job at the lighthouse. The film explores themes of grief, memory, and the supernatural, with Jacob haunted by memories of a childhood friend, possibly the daughter of the lighthouse owner.

The film was created and directed by local filmmakers John Baumgartner and Cindy Davis-Seng
